Have you ever thought how cool it would be to have your own pub for a night? You’re in charge of the guest list, the music, the food. You’ve got friendly, attentive bar staff to look after you. The beer is great, and there’s a wide range of other drinks to keep everyone happy.
You’ve just imagined a private event at the CLB taproom. And the great news is that they’re already a thing. This summer we’ve hosted a wedding reception, 21st birthday parties, corporate stuff, society meetings, and there’s more booked in, including plans for Christmas markets and wreath-making workshops. Yes indeed.
We’re proud of what we’ve created at the taproom, and it’s clear other people like it as well. It’s a unique space in the local area and we just want people to use it. It’s one more way that we can collaborate with and support the local community.
If you want live music, we’ve got lots of contacts. If you want to whack your own playlist onto the PA system, that’s fine. We can suggest options for food trucks, or you might want to BYO. We’ve even got our campsite in the field outside if you’ve got some intrepid guests who want to have a few sherbets and stay over.
But it doesn’t have to be a party. Maybe your work team, society or club wants somewhere different to meet. We can do tea, coffee and bickies – it doesn’t have to be about the beer. There's plenty of parking, seating, and toilets.
