If you’ve followed our story for a while, you’ll know that creating our own tap room has been high on the to-do list since we started. Having our own venue where we can share beer and good times with our supporters is the goal for Team CLB.
Whilst a permanent home might still be out of reach, we’ve pulled together a plan as cunning as a fox who’s just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University. A reference there for the Blackadder fans amongst you, but not a statement to be attempted after three bottles of our 7.5% Cotswold Porter!
And so we’re buzzing to share this news with you. On Friday 8 and Saturday 9 April, we’ll be hosting our first ever tap room event at our storeroom on Field Farm in Somerford Keynes, just outside of Cirencester. We’ll be open from 4pm through to 9pm.
We’ll have our Pale Ale, Cotswold Porter and Best Bitter available, plus – if the couriers work their magic - we’ll also be unveiling our new Cotswold Blonde ale - all served in lovely CLB-branded glasses. There will be music from local acoustic band New Rules, food by our friends at Burgerlish and we’ll even have some “apples” on offer from the team at Mates Cider. Music, food and beers, what’s there not to like?
There is loads of parking on site (the postcode for your satnav is GL7 6FE) and, regardless of the weather, we guarantee it’s going to be a great evening. Massive shout out to our landlord Mike for supporting our plans and helping to make this happen!
